Greenwich Grind restaurant & bar Architecture by Biasol

Greenwich Grind is a chain of restaurants, cafes and bars all located in London. A relaxed and cool design created by Biasol Architects. Soft tones are used as well as greenery with a modern and cozy look in furnishing. Grind was founded in 2011 when David Abrahamovitch took over his father’s Shoreditch mobile phone shop and decided to turn it into a café-bar. In the decade since, Grind has grown to become a cult east London coffee brand, comprising eleven locations, includi

    Restaurant Noumi-Hotel Bellevue Palace Bern

A new edition and concept for Hotel Bellevue Palace the restaurant Noumi The name ‘Noumi’ comes from «numismatics» which means coins. The Noumi premises once accommodated the Bernese coin press, that is where in fact, the name derives from. A casual atmosphere with cool music played by a dj. They offer Grill, bowls and finger food, all very tasteful and appetizing. THE INTERIOR The interior has an urban look which you would see in a city like New York, but this is located in

    Festive hot chocolate with rum

With the holidays coming up nothing is better than a festive hot chocolate. Using a chocolate bar to make hot chocolate gives it the ultimate rich taste. I prefer dark chocolate which I will use it for this recipe. You can always use a milk bar instead if you like. For a more festive twist add a splash of dark rum. RECIPE for 2 servings 1 dark or milk chocolate bar 2 cups of milk whipped cream chocolate sauce for decoration pinch of salt a bit of sugar splash of dark rum Star

Chopped salmon and avocado egg sandwich

For lunch, we have prepared a chopped salmon and avocado egg sandwich. Sometimes it is maybe difficult what to choose for lunch. We tend to grab the easiest and fastest things we can find. It also has to do with the time I guess, but let’s say we will keep this only for our weekends. It is not only easy to make,  but it is also very healthy and tasty too. Ingredients: 1 slice of whole wheat bread chopped salmon creme fraiche watercress cream cheese 1 avocado 1 egg Start with

Black tableware pieces ideas and mood board

B eautiful black tableware pieces here shown in pictures and a mood board. Depending on your style, black can be a great option to use for your home. But in some cases you should consider using accessories in black instead of furniture pieces. Naturally it all depends on the size of your living room. If it is a small room, it can look a little bit crowded. Here you can see how to work with black accessories. I may assume that coffee and tea are part of our daily routine for

Let’s talk about coffee, no facts just fun

Let’s talk about coffee, no facts just fun. I like my coffee in the morning very much, how about you? I call for it to feel awake and have a great start off in the morning. There is, of course, a lot to say about coffee, but I keep it in hand by simply drinking 2 coffee’s a day. I play around a little with the variety of coffees. Mostly it is an espresso, but if I want it a bit more fancy I treat myself to a cappuccino or Latte Macchiato. As an example a mood board and access

A late summer evening at Park Hotel Vitznau

We’ve enjoyed a late summer evening at Park Hotel Vitznau W e had a few drinks and a small bite. A wonderful looking tuna and a beautiful tartar, both tasted exquisite. Nothing better than a fresh cup of tea

Nothing better than a fresh cup of tea. My favourite flavour is Ginger, like the one from Fortnum & Mason, but I also cannot resist a fresh cup of Jasmine tea. Nowadays you see so many beautiful packaging, that it is hard to choose from. Tea originally started in China, when the Chinese emperor Shen Nung was sitting beneath a tree while his servant boiled drinking water when some leaves from the tree blew into the water. Shen Nung, a renowned herbalist, decided to try the inf

Recipe for a festive Rum Chococcino

A variation of the hot chocolate is what I call a Chococcino. It is a hot chocolate with frothed milk instead of whipped cream. What you need for 2 mugs is a 125 gram dark chocolate bar of 60%. If you think it’s not sweet enough you can always add some extra sugar in it. Add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and mix it in. Simmer the milk and add the chocolate bar in small pieces and stir till it’s all creamy and without lumps. Heat but let not boil the milk. Add a dash of your f
