Castlecrag house by Polly Harbison Design
The former house was nicknamed the bête rouge (red beast), thanks to the brick colour and hodgepodge of rooms and extensions. However, rather than knocking the house down and starting from scratch, Polly Harbison employed a design strategy to reduce, edit and revive its solid bones creating a beautiful light and natural in-and outside area.
Here some impressions after the renovation. A beautiful landscaped garden and courtyard with unobstructed views from the living room.
Kitchen in natural colours and finishings.
In-and outside living is possible because of partly covered patio areas.
