Chanel Spring Summer 2020 Ready To Wear
The new Chanel Spring Summer 2020 Ready To Wear is here. The first show from Virginie Viard since Karl Lagerfeld sadly passed away. Very happy to see the classic and feminine style of which Chanel is known for. Here some impressions and video of the Chanel show.
As seen on Vogue
The setting, on the rooftops of the Chanel store at the Rue Cambon.
We see tweeds, playsuits, tiny silk shorts, garçonne coatdresses, and little bell-shaped skirts.
According to Vogue, Inspired on “atmosphere of the Nouvelle Vague”—the French New Wave cinema of the 1950s and 1960s, famous for portraying young actresses in the honest light of real life.
Playful black and white turtleneck in stripes. High waisted skirt with oversized blazer and black and white flats.
All in all a very first impressive show of Virginie Viard, of course with her own stamp, but still in the style of Chanel.
